One Sacred Community

Whether you adopt the creation story of science and the Big Bang, the creation stories of indigenous peoples or the stories of the great wisdom traditions, we learn that everything that exists comes from one source. And yet, we humans accept a story that we are separate from one another, with special privileges, leading to the abuse of those unlike us, the dismissal, even destruction of those who don't believe as we do and the devastation of the natural world. To create a world that works for us all we must accept and honor the truth that all life is interrelated and interdependent.

The wounds of injustice to both humans and the natural world must be healed and the wrongs must be acknowledged and compensated for in an appropriate way. The “reinvention of the human” hinges on the healing of these deep wounds, especially the wounds of slavery and genocide of indigenous people on every continent.
Most importantly we must rediscover ourselves as brothers and sisters, both humans and other-than-humans, in the Family of All Things. This is the work of personal accountability we must all take up, the real work of reinventing humanity, the work of becoming the Higher Self.

The "Higher Self" residing deep within the heart of every human, proclaims as Jesus did, "In as much as you have done it to the least of these my brothers and sisters, you have done it to me." In that level of unity consciousness, neither racism, sexism, speciesism, nor atheism can exist. At that level of consciousness, Buddhism's "Five Poisons" and Christianity's "Seven Deadly Temptations (sins)" vanish.
We are called to "Come Up Higher." In truth we are called to make the higher, lower; that is, to embody our higher natures or true selves, in our physical bodies right here on Earth, not in some afterworld. And therein create one sacred community. Come join us in the "Great Work" of our times, embodying our greater potentials in the Joy of creating a world that works for all!
To this end University of Earth exists.
