Comparative Models of Human Development*

"The greatest tragedy of our times is humans have gravely underestimated
what we can become."
Roger Walsh, MD, PhD

The different developmental models in this chart are categorized for comparison by approximation only for each stage within each model. Early and lower stages of development are at the bottom of the chart, late and higher stages are at the top.
(Included in each model and level is an example of what the research indicates and is not a comprehensive list. It is also important to note that very few humans have achieved the higher levels, hence little is known about those levels.)

The Structure of the Mind/Consciousness Model is a hybrid of Jean Gebser & Sri Aurobindo created by Ken Wilber.

The Ascended Masters Soul Development Model was created by Rich Silver based on the spiritual teachings of Elizabeth Clare Prophet.
